The significant other, the title 'boyfriend' just doesn't do him justice, and I are moving to Yuma from North Carolina. That's right, he's a Marine. Beings that I am such an addict to Lejeune Yard Sales here, I thought I would put some feelers out on here and see what kind of response I would get.

First of all, he nor myself have ever been to Yuma. I'm hoping for any information about the city. Good neighborhoods to look for a house in, the bad ones to stay out of. We do not have any children so schools aren't an issue for us at the moment. What is there to do in Yuma. I've searched the internet every which way from Sunday and I've found all of the fun, touristy things to do but I'm more interested in the day to day what is there to do. What's the atmosphere and vibe of the city? Is it laid back and chill? I'm sure there isn't a hugh nightlife, which is fine with me. I'm not a club person and neither is he. How are the people? I like to think of myself as a pretty good person and do not do drama. I don't need people who are drama. I currently live in Wilmington, NC. The people here are so kind and warm and down to earth. I'm hoping for people like that in Yuma. I'm crossing my fingers for people like that.

Anything would help really, talking to people here all I've gotten is that it's hot in Yuma. I kinda figured that one out on my own. It's the desert. Hot and dry. I can handle that.
